Identity Isn’t Earned—It’s Remembered

ree

At first, I thought I needed to build a new version of myself—something better, something more aligned. But every attempt felt like another costume. Another layer on top of the silence I was finally learning to sit in.

What I didn’t realize then—but know now—is that identity is not something we create. It’s something we come home to.

The part of you that existed before the pressure, before the expectations, before the roles... is still there. It’s been waiting.

And the real work isn’t in becoming someone new—it’s in remembering someone ancient.

The version of you who didn’t have to prove. The version of you who was whole before the world gave you tasks. The version of you who knows.

I went through this journey, and so can you! You got this!
